Academic Advising
Members of the Vilnius University community and applicants for studies can contact academic counsellors at the Student Affairs and Career Office (SACO) or at each academic department (faculty) to discuss issues related to the study process, finances, and internship opportunities. Accommodation
There are many accomodation options for international students in Vilnius University. Dormitories are situated as close to the academic campuses as possible and charge modest fees. Application for accomodation must be submitted via online enrolment procedure (for exchange students), or via online admission procesure (for degree students). Career Services
The career services provided at Vilnius University can help students get to know themselves better, find the most suitable career path, set future goals and set milestone to achieve them. VU Career Centre provides personal and group career counseling, provides CV and LinkedIn profile analysis and conducts job interview simulations. Vilnius University Information Technology Service Center (VU ITSC) creates, supports and develops modern IT service systems at the University. VU ITSC answers all questions about VU E-Identity activation, connection to the study information system (is.vu.lt), VU student e-mail, Wi-Fi, or VU VPN. VU ITSC provides its services free of charge. Health promotion consultations
VU Health and Sport Center invites you to the consultations of health promotion. Several types of individual consultations are offered. The consultations are suitable for everyone who wants to live a healthier life, has questions about the right choice of sport and exercises or looking for motivation on how to change their habits and live a beter life. Consultations are free of charge. Registration is required. More information here.
Legal Support
Vilnius University Law Clinic provides free legal aid for all Vilnius University students. Primary legal aid consists of legal advice, preperation of letters to state or municipal institutions, assistance in filling in applications for secondary legal aid, preparation of some simple court procedural documents. Library Services
Vilnius University Library provides a wide range of services - from the lending of printed publications, access to an abundance of e-information resources, comfortable workplaces in reading rooms, up to subject librarian consultations, training on information search writing academic researches. The Information Center of Vilnius University Šiauliai Academy is equipped with reading rooms with computerized workplaces, rooms for individual and group work, a media library, relaxation areas and a room for hourly care for children. The library organizes excursions and educational activities, the purpose of which is to get acquainted with the unique documents and objects stored in the Information Center. About 25,000 documents are stored in the open collections of the VU Kaunas Faculty Library. Also in the library you can find business, management, economics, informatics and humanities publications and other scientific literature, which is organized according to the study programs taught at the faculty. The library has 25 places for work (12 of them are computerized), as well as places for informal socializing/relaxation. More information here.
Support for Students with Disabilities
Vilnius University is open and makes effort to ensure conditions for students with disabilities by adapting the infrastructure, providing opportunities to individualize the study process and providing financial support. Training and Recreation Centres

Vilnius University's one of the biggest aims is to help students grow and improve as a person, to provide knowledge that will help students enter the job market more easily.
