Procedure of Study Graduation
A graduate is a person who has fulfilled all the requirements of the chosen study programme.
Graduates of the University who have completed bachelor's, master's degree or integrated study programmes shall be awarded a diploma certifying the qualification degree awarded and a diploma supplement, and upon completion of the doctoral studies and defence of the doctoral thesis – a diploma certifying the degree of science (art).
The diplomas are awarded during the winter and summer sessions.
The graduation shall be held in the manner prescribed by Vilnius University for undergraduate, postgraduate and full-time students
- Cum Laude diploma is awarded to those who have completed a study programme with outstanding merit;
- Magna Cum Laude diploma is awarded to those who have completed the study programme with outstanding merit and have distinguished in research activities.
Students who have studied selected course units (modules) at the University but have not completed the entire study programme shall be issued with Academic Transcript indicating all the course units (modules) passed, their scope and grades. Please contact the administration of the Faculty for this certificate.
A duplicate diploma and (or) diploma supplement will be issued in the event of damage, loss or other loss.
Students are issued regular study certificates by the administration of the faculty.
For students who have graduated or have been expelled from the University, the Department of Study Administration of the Central Administration shall issue additional study certificates and provide additional services in accordance with the procedures laid down by the Senate Commission.
