How to Become a Mentee

Think about the skills, knowledge, or experience you would like to gain through the Mentoring Programme.

Choose a mentor!

To become a mentee/Programme participant, you should:

be motivated and have a goal;
seek knowledge and experience as resources for your continuous development;
be able to devote at least one hour per month to meeting with your mentor;
go through the gallery of mentors and indicate on the registration form which one you have chosen (enter their full name);
within 48 hours after formulating the goal and sending an invitation via the platform, you should receive a YES or NO answer from your potential mentor;
having received a positive answer, contact the mentor within 48 hours and start communication.

Create a list of your career goals and objectives to share with your mentor.
Revise your ultimate goals and objectives with the mentor.
Commit to meeting your mentor on a regular basis; determine how and when these meetings will take place.
Communicate your preferred feedback style to your mentor.
Fill in progress reports and regularly reassess your needs.
Be proactive in asking for feedback.
At regular intervals, review the reached goals established in your Mentoring Agreement.
Keep accurate records of your development and progress.
Discuss the mentor’s comments; remain responsive and be open to different points of view.
Keep your communication confidential.
