Choose your Bachelor's degree study programme from over 100 programmes held in the Lithuanian language

Required Lithuanian language knowledge
C1 for studies in the fields of Information Services, Communication, Publishing and Journalism (Social Sciences), Linguistics, Literary science, Philology in the Lithuanian language, Translation (the Humanities)
B2 for studies in the rest of the fields in Social Sciences and the Humanities as well as Mathematical Sciences, Computer Sciences, Physical Sciences, Engineering Sciences, Life Sciences, Law, Management and Education Sciences

Documents available to prove the proficiency: 

- Certificate from a competent institution of a reached level of proficiency in Lithuanian or the State Lithuanian language exam taken;

- Lithuanian language test at the Department of Lithuanian Language Studies at the Faculty of Philology could be taken.

APPLICATION PROCEDURES
  • If you are a citizen of the Republic of Lithuania or another member country of the European Union (EU) or European Economic Area (EEA), person (non-EU/EEA) granted a right of permanent residence in the Republic of Lithuania, child, grandchild or great-grandchild of the Diaspora or person of Lithuanian origin you shall apply under the same conditions as Lithuanian applicants. You shall apply via the joint admission carried out by The Lithuanian Higher Institutions Association for Organizing Joint Admission (LAMA BPO).   • If you do not fall into any of the mentioned categories you shall be accepted to studies held in Lithuanian language under the following admission procedure: (in case you would like to apply for studies conducted in English or Russian language please follow this admission procedure).
