General Figures of Vilnius University

Vilnius University has 12 Faculties, 7 Research Institutes, 4 Study and Research Centres, one of the oldest Libraries in Lithuania, the Astronomical Observatory, the Botanical Garden, the Computer Centre, 2 Hospitals of Vilnius University. In 2014, there were 19 987 students at the University, 14 643 of them in undergraduate studies, and 3698 in graduate studies. There were 809 MDs in residency and 837 doctoral students. Research and teaching is carried out by 2451 specialists, including 1770 habilitated doctors and doctors.
