The focus is on reputation management in social media, peculiarities of communication management for branding of companies, cities and states. Another aspect of the research encompasses the impact of cultural diversity on organizational innovativeness and its outcomes such as artistic innovations or cultural enterprises. Cultural diversity is examined from the perspective of both the organisation and the communities (rural and urban, communities of practice in organizations). This gains momentum considering the recent social issues of immigrant flows to Europe, emigration rates from Lithuania and cultural activities of Lithuanian diasporas worldwide. From a diversity perspective, women studies constitute a specific area of the group’s research. The group plans to provide research-informed advice to public bodies on economic (innovation), cultural and migration policy development.

Comparative assessment of low carbon energy transition costs for economic sectors of the EU MS: carbon dioxide shadow price approach (S-MIP-23-36). The project is granted by Research Council of Lithuania (LMT). Period: 2023.04.01-2026.03.31. The aim of the project is to assess and compare the strictness of climate change mitigation policies in EU Member States by assessing the dynamics of CO2 emission abatement costs using the carbon shadow price approach and to identify and compare the costs of the transition to low-carbon energy for individual EU Member States and for their individual economic sectors. On the basis of this research, mitigation policy recommendations will be developed. The project manager: Prof. Dalia Štreimikienė.

ERASMUS2027 Innovation Alliances: SMEs Cyber Security Change Agents (CyberAgent) The aim of the CyberAgent project is to create a platform for the target group to acquire sustainable cybersecurity and entrepreneurial knowledge and competences to inspire, empower, up-skill, re-skill and engage SME employees taking the role as Cyber Security Change Agents and involve more women in the IT sector. It will facilitate collaborations between HEIs, VETs, and SMEs, operating as a platform for sharing best practices in cybersecurity and the labor market. Additionally, it intends to improve the employability of the target groups, support SMEs in building their cyber resilience, preserve their reputation and competitiveness, and raise organizational cybersecurity maturity and culture. Action Details: ERASMUS-EDU-2022-PI-ALL-INNO, Start Date - 01/07/2023; End Date - 30/06/2026; Representative: Assoc. prof. Dr Renata Danielienė (Vilnius University - Coordinator).
COST Action CA22104 - Behavioral Next Generation in Wireless Networks for Cyber Security (BEiNG-WISE). Human-beings have a double role in the cyber-connected world: as potential offender and potential victim. The focus of BEiNG-WISE will be on how these different human-being features can be combined with the advanced technological characteristics, in order to conceive non-conventional, responsible by design, cyber-security solutions accounting for both these factors. In this complex connected system, another fundamental aspect that needs to be accounted to, is the legal one, related to the conception of solutions that can be effectively employed in the real world. Also, legal aspects should be considered at the design stage. The Action relies on cross-domains expertise, ranging from cybersecurity, wireless communication technology, data science, sociology, psychology and law. CSO Approval date - 12/05/2023; Start date - 22/09/2023; End date - 21/09/2027. Faculty’s representatives: Dr V. E. Rudžionis and Dr Š. Grigaliūnas
The Open and Universal Science (OPUS) project develops coordination and support measures to reform the assessment of research and researchers at Research Performing Organisations (RPOs) and Research Funding Organisations (RFOs) towards a system that incentivises and rewards researchers to take up Open Science practices. (https://opusproject.eu/) The OPUS project is financed by European Union through the GRANT AGREEMENT concluded with the European Research Executive Agency (REA), under the powers delegated by the European Commission. COST Action CA19117: Researcher Mental Health (ReMo) ReMO focuses on wellbeing and mental health within academia, a theme of strategic importance for the European Research Area. Previous research shows that low levels of wellbeing and mental health problems have a negative impact on individual, team and organizational performance, triggering significant costs. In addition, institutional context, organizational structure and culture, and managerial practices significantly impact employee well-being and health. Therefore, general insights on the causes of workplace well-being and mental health need to be refined with contextual specifics (i.e. in academia) to develop tailored, effective and efficient prevention and action programs. Action Details: MoU - 020/20; CSO Approval date - 24/03/2020; Start date - 22/09/2020; End date - 21/09/2024; https://projects.tib.eu/remo Representatives: Senior researcher A. Novelskaitė, Assoc.
