General Figures of Vilnius University

Vilnius University has 11 Faculties, Life Sciences Centre, Institute of International Relations and Political Science, Business School, Šiauliai Academy, one of the oldest Libraries in Lithuania, the Astronomical Observatory, the Botanical Garden, Centre of Information Technology Development, and two hospitals. In 2023, there were 23 651 students at the University, 14 338 of them in undergraduate studies, 4 142 in graduate studies, and 3 347 in integrated studies. There were 798 MDs in residency, 817 doctoral students, research and teaching is carried out by 3 108 specialists, 2 387 of them teachers, 721 scholars, including 2 115 habilitated doctors and doctors.
