General Figures of Vilnius University

Vilnius University has 12 Faculties, 7 Research Institutes, 4 Study and Research Centres, the Library, one of the oldest in Lithuania, the Astronomical Observatory, the Botanical Garden, the Computer Centre, 2 Hospitals of Vilnius University. In 2015, there were 19 828 students at the University, 14 461 of them in undergraduate studies, and 3650 in graduate studies. There were 807 MDs in residency and 879 doctoral students. Research and teaching is carried out by 2404 specialists, including 1601 habilitated doctors and doctors.
