Practice and Recreation Centres
IMPORTANT: Training, recreation and student practice centers are intended for accommodation only for members of the VU community: employees and students.
Romuva
The Romuva Conference, Seminar and Recreation Centre in Palanga is located in a beautiful and quiet area just 500 metres from the sea. The Palanga Concert Hall and Botanical Park are nearby and the territory of the centre is surrounded by a park. The centre has 44 rooms in total (single, double, triple and quadruple) and most rooms have a kitchenette. Meals can also be cooked in the shared ground-floor kitchen. We also have two rooms on the ground floor that are adapted for people with disabilities.
A conference/seminar room with up to 60 seats is available for meetings or briefings.
For guests‘ convenience there is access to a private, covered car park (up to 23 cars).
You are allowed to bring your pet to the centre (extra charge).

Pervalka
Vilnius University Training and Recreation Centre in Pervalka is located in the beautiful, small, quiet town of Neringa on the shore of the Curonian Lagoon.
The villa has 12 rooms: 10 double rooms (2+1) and two quadruple rooms. Each triple room has a TV, a sofa-bed and a single bed, a wardrobe with two doors, a kitchen table and chairs and a kitchenette (fridge, built-in hotplate, kettle, dishes, kitchenware). There is a shower and toilet in a separate room as well as a double bed on the second floor.
The quadruple rooms have a sofa-bed, a single bed on the ground floor as well as a kitchenette. There is a shower and toilet in a separate room and also a double bed on the second floor.
All rooms have a small terrace or balcony with outdoor furniture (table and chairs).
Free on-site parking is available.
Cycling trails (guests‘ own bicycles or rented in Pervalka) take holidaymakers to the sea, the towns of Preila, Nida, or even as far as Smiltyne, visiting the dead dunes, the towns of Juodkrante and Alksnyne.
The settlement of Pervalka has a pizzeria, a café and a grocery shop. There are basketball courts and children's playgrounds. There also is a fitness area with free work-out equipment close to the village.

Puvočiai
Vilnius University (VU) Puvočiai Training and Internship Campus is located in the beautiful, forested village of Puvočiai in the Varėnos district.
This great campus is used for:
- VU community science and study processes,
- education and work-related training events,
- art group camps and gatherings,
- sport events,
- employee and student vacations.
The ground floor of the building includes rooms for training and student laboratories, and a large auditorium-conference room with a projector. The lounge opens directly onto an outdoor terrace.
This floor also has a spacious kitchen (two large fridges, four electric stoves, a microwave, cutlery, kitchen utensils) and a spacious dining room.
There is a lift for guests with disabilities.
The second floor has bedrooms, shared showers and toilets, and laundry facilities.
On the third floor, the single, double and dormitory (single and double) rooms have showers and toilets, wardrobes with sliding doors and mirrors in each room.
There is also a shared kitchen on the third floor (two fridges, two electric stoves, a microwave, cutlery, kitchen utensils).
The base has internet access, geothermal heating and hot water is produced by solar panels. Events and accommodation are available all year round.
The spacious, fenced outdoor area features two large wooden gazebos for seminars and training sessions in the warm months. There is also the possibility of hanging stands, connecting to and using projectors for events.
The base is ideal for organising events, student internships, conferences, training and recreation.
We invite employees of all Vilnius University departments and students to actively use the Puvočiai training and practice base not only in the summer, but also throughout the year.
