Jokūbas Mirskis (1918–?) was born in Vilnius, in the Mirskiai family of Mauša and Braina (Brajna). In 1928, he entered the Gymnasium of E. Dzencelskienė (Teachers’ Association) in Vilnius. He finished it in 1936. In 1939, he got a job in the cardboard factory and sawmill of Valkininkai. In September 1939, he applied to the Economics Department of the Faculty of Law of Vilnius University and was accepted. On 19 September 1941, he was expelled from the university on the basis of the Order of 17 September 1941 of the Higher Education Department of the Board of Education, under the authority of the National Socialists. No information on the further fate of Jokūbas Mirskis is known.
