Mašė Benskytė (1920–?) was born in Virbalis, Vilkaviškis county. In 1938, she graduated from the private Jewish gymnasium Javnė in Kaunas. In 1939, she was admitted to the Department of Mathematics of the Faculty of Mathematics and Nature of Vilnius University. She had to suspend her studies due to a lack of funds, but she resumed them in the autumn of 1940. She did not study there for long because on 19 September 1941 she was expelled from the university on the basis of the Order of 17 September 1941 of the Higher Education Department of the Board of Education, under the authority of the National Socialists. No information on the further fate of Mašė Benskytė is known.
