Mejeris Berezinas (1921–?) was born in Vilnius. In 1932, he entered the private Ch. Epstein and I. Speizer coeducational gymnasium and lyceum in Vilnius (Prywatne Gimnazjum i Liceum Koedukacyjne Ch. Epsztejna i I. Szpajzera w Wilnie), completing it in 1939. In the autumn of 1940, he enrolled in the Department of Philosophy of the Faculty of Humanities of Vilnius University. He studied there for a year. On 19 September 1941, he was expelled from the university on the basis of the Order of 17 September 1941 of the Higher Education Department of the Board of Education, under the authority of the National Socialists. No information about the further fate of Mejeris Berezinas is known.
