Aldona Zinaida was born in a family of farmers in the town of Adutiškis, Švenčionys county. In 1937, she finished primary school in Adutiškis and continued her education in Vilnius. She finished the sixth form and was admitted to Vytautas Magnus Gymnasium. The gymnasium was restructured and Aldona Zinaida attended Vilnius 2nd gymnasium for girls which she finished in 1945. In the same year she became a student at the Medical Faculty of Vilnius University. In 1946, she was arrested for her connections with an anti-Soviet organisation: she let the members of the underground organisation hold a meeting in her flat. War tribunal sentenced A. Z. Bielinytė to eight years of gulag. She served her sentence and was released in 1954. Aldona Bielinytė was rehabilitated by the Supreme Court of the Lithuanian SSR in 1989.
