Edmund Żytkiewicz

Edmund Żytkiewicz (Edmundas Žitkevičius) (1910–?) was born in Vilnius. In 1937, he graduated from gymnasium. In 1940, Žitkevič entered the Chemistry Department at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences of Vilnius University. That same year, he transferred to the Faculty of Law of Vilnius University. On 5 November 1941, he was expelled from the university by the Order of 17 September 1941 of the Department of Higher Education under the Board of Education, which was subordinate to the National Socialists. No further information on the fate of Žitkevič is known.
