Libe Burmanowna (Libė Burmanaitė) (1920–?) was born in Vilnius. In 1938, she graduated from the private Jewish Gymnasium of Epstein and Speiser in Vilnius. In 1940, Burmanaitė applied to study at the Pharmacy Department of the Faculty of Medicine of Vytautas Magnus University, but her application was denied. That same year, she applied for admission to the English Language and Literature group at the Philology Department at the Faculty of Humanities of Vilnius University and was accepted. On 19 September 1941, Burmanaitė was expelled from the university by the Order of 17 September 1941 of the Department of Higher Education under the Board of Education, which was subordinate to the National Socialists. No further information on the fate of Burmanaitė is known.
