Jokūbas Slepianas (1921–?) was born in Vilnius. In 1940, he graduated from the private Jewish Gymnasium of Epstein and Speiser in Vilnius. In August that year, Slepianas entered the Medical Department at the Faculty of Medicine of Vytautas Magnus University. A few months later, he was transferred to the Medical Department at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences of Vilnius University. On 19 September 1941, Slepianas was expelled from the university by the Order of 17 September 1941 of the Department of Higher Education under the Board of Education, which was subordinate to the National Socialists. According to the “Yad Vashem” database, Slepianas was killed during the Holocaust in Estonia.
