Noach Pajus (1921–?) was born in Vilnius. In 1939, he graduated from the “Tarbut” private coeducational lyceum in Vilnius. That same year, he entered the Faculty of Medicine at Stephen Báthory University. When the university was closed, Pajus applied to study at the Medical Department of the Faculty of Medicine of Vytautas Magnus University, but his application was denied. In 1940, he successfully applied for admission to the Medical Department at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences at Vilnius University. On 19 September 1941, Pajus was expelled from the university by the Order of 17 September 1941 of the Department of Higher Education under the Board of Education, which was subordinate to the National Socialists. According to the “Yad Vashem” database, Pajus was killed during the Holocaust.
