Nosas Goldinas (1921–?) was born in Vilnius. In 1927, he started studying at Elementary School No. 8. From 1934 to 1939, Goldinas studied at the private gymnasium and general school named “Education in Vilnius”. During his years in general education, it was difficult for Goldinas to make a living; therefore, he worked as a tutor. In 1939, he applied to study at the Medical Department of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences of Stefan Batory University and was accepted. After the university was closed down, the Medical Department was transferred to Kaunas, but Nosas did not have the opportunity to go there to study due to financial difficulties. In 1940, he applied to study at the Medical Department of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences of Vilnius University and was accepted. However, it was not possible for him to complete his studies because, on 19 September 1941, he was expelled from the university on the basis of the Order of 17 September 1941 of the Department of Higher Education of the Board of Education, which was subordinate to the National Socialists. The Holocaust Victims Database of Yad Vashem says that Nosas Goldinas was killed in Vilnius during the Holocaust and was registered as Nasan Goldin (his date of birth was not indicated).
