Betti Chlavnovičiūtė (1922–?) was born in Vilnius, into the family of Rebeka and Jozef Chlavnovičius. In 1931, she entered E. Ožeškienė’s State Gymnasium for Girls in Vilnius and graduated from it in 1939. In the fall of 1939, Chlavnovičiūtė applied to study at the Faculty of Medicine of Stefan Batory University and was accepted. In 1940, after the university was closed down, she filed an application to continue her studies at Vytautas Magnus University in Kaunas but was not accepted. In October 1940, she applied to join the Medical Department of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences of Vilnius University, and her application was successful. On 19 September 1941, Chlavnovičiūtė was expelled from the university on the basis of the Order of 17 September 1941 of the Department of Higher Education of the Board of Education. The list of prisoners of the Vilna Ghetto shows that she was imprisoned. No further information on the fate of Betti Chlavnovičiūtė is known.
