Arkinovka (Orkinaitė) Zuzana

Arkinovka (Orkinaitė) Zuzana (1921-?) was born in Vilnius. she entered Eliza Orzeszkowa Gymnasium in Vilnius in 1932 and graduated in 1939. In September 1940, she applied for admission to the Department of Chemistry of the Faculty of Mathematics and Nature of Vilnius University. The document contains two stamps: the first reads “Do not accept (28 September 1940)” [crossed out], and the second reads “Accept in biology (15 October 1940)”. Zuzana was expelled from the university on 19 September 194 based on the Order of 17 September 1941 of the Higher Education Department of the Board of Education, which was under the authority of the National Socialists. Her further fate is unknown.
