Verbelovnikaitė Beila. It is known that in her fourth semester (in 1939) she studied at the Department of Philology of the Faculty of Humanities. It is difficult to say whether she started her studies at Vytautas Magnus University or at Stephen Báthory University. In 1940, she wrote an application to Vilnius University to continue her studies at the Department of Philology of the Faculty of Humanities. She had completed four semesters there but took a break due to a lack of funds. The application was favourably received. She studied for a year and was expelled from the university on 19 September 1941 based on the Order of 17 September 1941 of the Higher Education Department of the Board of Education, which was under the authority of the National Socialists. According to Yad Vashem, she was murdered in the Holocaust.
