General Figures of Vilnius University

Vilnius University has 12 Faculties, 7 Research Institutes, 4 Study and Research Centres, one of the oldest Libraries in Lithuania, the Astronomical Observatory, the Botanical Garden, the Computer Centre, 2 Hospitals of Vilnius University. In 2016, there were 19 484 students at the University, 11 418 of them in undergraduate studies, 3530 in graduate studies, and 2852 in integrated studies. There were 794 MDs in residency and 860 doctoral students. Research and teaching is carried out by 2429 specialists, 1912 of them teachers, 517 scholars, including 1611 habilitated doctors and doctors.
