General Figures of Vilnius University

Vilnius University has 14 Faculties, 5 Research Institutes, 4 Study and Research Centres, one of the oldest Libraries in Lithuania, the Astronomical Observatory, the Botanical Garden, the Computer Centre, 3 Hospitals of Vilnius University, 5 University Hospitals, and the International Business School. In 2012, there were 20 980 students, 15 218 of them in undergraduate studies, 4165 in graduate studies. There were 786 MD's in residency and 811 doctoral students. Research and teaching is carried out by 2344 specialists, including 283 habilitated doctors (HP included) and 1385 doctors.
