Determination of the exact molecular mass of organic compounds, analysis of mixtures with TOF mass spectrometer.

Time-of-flight mass analyzer analyzes the atoms or molecules generated by the sample, according to the time spent flying by the particles of different masses. In order for ions to be free to enter into [...], it is calculated, how long do the molecules of the sample travel the same distance, given that the initial kinetic energy of all molecules is the same.
