The aim of this programme is to prepare highly-qualified Global Business specialists with exhaustive competencies and knowledge. For the best students enrolled in the programme, there are two double degree possibilities at either the Parthenope University of Naples (Italy) or at the University of Parma (Italy). Graduates of the programme will have a complete knowledge of global business management and economics, as well as a better understanding of the cultural, economic, political, legal, scientific and technological global business environments. These graduates will be able to find solutions for global business development, to create and develop competitive businesses in the global conditions, and will have knowledge of the business cultures in diversified regions.

Schedule

Global Business & Economics is a two-year study programme conducted primarily on campus, although some subjects may be taught remotely via the MS Teams platform.

Classes are held on weekday evenings from 5:45 PM to 9:00 PM (Lithuanian time). Each semester, students study 4 to 6 different subjects, organized in modules. Typically, 1 to 2 subjects are studied simultaneously, with new subjects starting after the completion of the previous ones. The Master's thesis is defended in three stages, during the second, third, and fourth semesters.

Key Learning Outcomes

A graduate of the programme will:

Have a firm knowledge of global business management
Better understand the cultural, economic, political, legal, scientific and technological international business environments needed for business decision making
Develop a firm knowledge of the establishment, development and competition of businesses in global conditions
Learn about the cultures of particular states, nationalities and regions, as this is one of the preconditions in making, developing and maintaining successful business contacts
Develop the practical and theoretical skills needed for solving global business problems

Programme Specific Requirements

20 ECTS credits in the theory of economics, management, marketing and optional course units in the fields of economics and business and management earned in bachelor studies or at least three years of professional experience gained in the field and a free-form statement indicating the length of employment and the job position issued by the employer supporting it provided.
