III year of studies

I chose to study German philology because I’m keen on learning languages. Also, I like Germany, its culture, it has a fascinating history, and, of course, the language itself. I have never once regretted entering Vilnius University. It has such a strong and friendly community, everyone is very nice and helpful. My study programme is also very interesting; teachers are always eager to help and will never refuse to explain unclear things.

The unanswered questions of the universe, the limits of humanity's knowledge and the extraordinary beauty of light have always fascinated me, and led me to where Lithuania is leading the way - lasers. What I value most in my studies are good teachers, attractive subjects and the like-minded people I meet.

English Philology
II year of study

Pursuing the bachelor degree in Vilnius University had been my dream for almost two years. I had found out about the university from my Lithuanian friend, while I was starting the high school in Belarus and I instantly became fascinated by the diversity of the English-taught programs and the welcoming atmosphere. I had opted for English Philology study program owing to my interest in the English language and its nuances. The program focuses not only on the English grammar, linguistics, literature, and history, but also allows an individual to take optional courses within all the faculties of the university!
I’m fond of the program’s structure and its flexibility, which develops a student’s soft skills as well as their interest in other areas. The professors are another huge pro of the program: their responsiveness, professionalism, and commitment have always been motivating me to put effort into my studies. The students’ community of Vilnius University is also very diverse, friendly and interactive, therefore anyone from either Lithuania or abroad can meet like-minded people and fulfil their potential! If you have any questions about the program, faculty or even adaptation, feel free to reach out to me.

IV year of studies

I chose my program because I had prior experience working in the marketing field, and I enjoyed it so much that I decided to pursue a deeper understanding of the subject through academic studies. One of the things I like most about my program is that it is fully taught in English. It has allowed me to interact with classmates from different countries, which has broadened my cultural perspective and exposed me to new ideas and ways of thinking.

III year of study

I've chosen the Politics of Global Challenges study program to pursue my goal of studying Political Science and International Studies and to enhance myself on the current geo-political climate of the world.
What I like the most about my studies are the professors, and how incredibly capable and talented they are in teaching us in the program. Also, PGC is the first English-speaking program implemented by IIRPS for bachelor studies, and it came into being in 2022. I along with my coursemates are the first ones to be a part of it!

I decided to study marketing because it combines innovative thinking with business, and the subject matter of this degree encompassed both of those aspects. Furthermore, the course lays a strong emphasis on the many aspects of marketing, resulting in a more thorough understanding of the industry. The range of projects includes both theoretical and practical components, resulting in a more balanced approach to learning the subject matter.

My journey into the world of medicine began during my work experience in emergency medicine, where I discovered my passion for the field. However, when it came to pursuing this path in Germany, I faced considerable challenges that made it difficult to kickstart my career. Fortunately, the Medical Faculty of Vilnius University offered me an opportunity to begin my medical journey directly. I am to live in Vilnius, an awesome city for students with immense potential and growth opportunities.
If you're considering studying medicine in Vilnius, I'm here to assist you. IV year of study

I chose this study program because of its broad profile and adaptability upon completion. The economics and entrepreneurship classes at school were also quite interesting to me, so I wished to continue pursuing my academic path in this field. I also wanted to study in an international environment without leaving home, thus improving my English language skills, and gaining useful contacts for future cooperation. What I like most about this study program is the students who come from different corners of the world, so you can share your experiences, work together on different tasks and projects, and compare the peculiarities of building and operating a business in your home. Also, most of the lecturers and professors are from the business world, so they can tell you not only the theory, but also share their experience and advise how everything works in real life. Starting from this past academic year learning in modules together with individual studies and "problem based learning" provides opportunities to test your strength in practice and further individualize your  study path.

I have chosen the Russian Philology programme as it offers a really impressive range of compulsory and optional courses. This programme gives you a chance not only to go deeper into the world of Russian literature or to learn some peculiarities of the language but also to get general philological knowledge that can be applied in many different areas. I adore our professors’ level of professionalism, patience, and will to create a safe and cozy study environment for every student.

Dentistry
V year of studies

Studying dentistry at VU is just perfect. Honestly, when deciding which university, I believe there should be a balance between education and life. As you assume, dentistry combines med school and working manually - that's why VU takes practice classes very seriously: We start in year 2 already, divided into small groups which ensures, that our professors have enough time for every single body. I am an international student, which means my friends are from all over the world. That makes living in the capital extra interesting. Vilnius brings a lot of opportunities, even tho my favourite activity might sound boring: sitting in one of numerous cute cafes in the old town.
As you noticed from those few sentences, studying dentistry at VU was my best decision!
