Welcome to National Open Access Scientific Information Repository

In February a newly created national open access digital archive for scientific information data is to be opened at the Centre of Information Technology Development of Vilnius University.

University together with the VU Hospital "Santariškių klinikos" and other partners jointly created an open access scientific information data archive for providing e. services, accumulating and storing a variety of empirical data or any research-related information. The new repository opens up possibilities for anyone who needs free, easy and convenient access to research data via Internet.

Open access repository will become a helpful instrument for all Lithuanian authorities conducting and administering research, as it allows storing scientific data reliably and exchanging it effectively. The VU repository will be able to hold up to 3 petabytes of data.
