Vilnius University’s Faculty of Economics and Business Administration continues to invite top researchers in economics, management, and accounting to share their expertise and elevate the level of research globally and within the region. After the faculty’s recent success in hosting two highly acclaimed international scientific conferences – Euromed and the World Finance and Banking Symposium – last year in Vilnius, we are excited to extend an invitation to another international conference organized by Vilnius University’s Faculty of Economics and Business Administration: “The Modern Economic, Technological, and Societal Trends: New Challenges or Opportunities”, scheduled for November 27-29th.
The theme of the conference is incredibly diverse: it provides an opportunity to delve not only into accounting but also into management, business, and finance issues. This is an excellent opportunity to share your research and ideas and gain new insights. The main topics of the conference include, but are not limited to:
– Trends of Development in Accounting Science and Practice;
– The Modernization and Advancement in Science and Practices of Audit, Assurance, Corporate Governance;
– Advancing Financial Analysis Sciences and Business Management in the Age of Technological Transformation;
– Role of Audit, Accounting, Accountability Management and Governance Structures in Addressing the Challenges of Environmental Issues and Climate Change.
Abstracts are accepted until July 1st and will be published in the conference materials. In addition to the opportunity to publish articles in our faculty journals, a special conference publication, “Challenges and Opportunities in Science and Business: The Impact of Trends in Economics, Technology, and Society on Accounting, Audit, and Analysis” will be released in the journal Financial Reporting and Accounting (Academic Journal Guide 2021 (ABS1), Scopus, Clarivate Analytics). Moreover, there will be a practical session on the publication process in the journal “Accounting in Emerging Economies” (Academic Journal Guide 2021 (ABS2), Scopus, Clarivate Analytics).
International conferences are the best opportunity to make meaningful connections with researchers interested in the same fields as you. Who knows, maybe these connections will result in successful partnerships or even ABS4-level publications.
We invite everyone to participate in the upcoming conference and share the information with anyone who you believe would benefit from participation.
