VU Choirs Invite to Perform a Ukrainian Folk Song Together

Vilnius University (VU) choirs Gaudeamus, Pro Musica and Virgo, invite to perform a Ukrainian folk song Ой, чий то кінь стоїть (en. Whose horse stands) at the Central Entrance of VU (Universiteto str. 3) on February 28th.

VU Academic mixed Choir Gaudeamus, women's choir Virgo and mixed choir Pro Musica and those who feel like singing gather from 6.15 p.m. to 6.30 p.m. at the entrance of the Central VU Palace, where will be performed the Ukrainian folk song Ой, чий то кінь стоїть. Members of the VU community are also invited to join and express cultural support for the freedom-fighting Ukraine.

The singing will be broadcast on the Facebook account of the VU Centre of Culture.

VU choir artistic director Rasa Gelgotienė shares the lyrics of the arranged song Ой, чий то кінь стоїть with everyone who wants to contribute.
