Vilnius University Signs Cooperation Agreement with the Nature Research Centre
On February 11, Vilnius University (VU) signed a cooperation agreement with the Nature Research Centre (NRC). The agreement was confirmed by the heads of both institutions: Prof. Rimvydas Petrauskas, the Rector of Vilnius University, and Prof. Sigitas Podėnas, the Director of the NRC, who met in person to sign the document.
This agreement establishes a framework for collaboration aimed at training highly qualified specialists and fostering scientific cooperation in the fields of science, technology, and interdisciplinary research.
The Nature Research Centre (NRC) is a state research institute conducting scientific research and experimental development in the field of natural sciences. The mission of the NRC is to develop fundamental and applied research by accumulating, summarizing and disseminating new knowledge in the field of natural sciences, which is necessary for ensuring the knowledge and protection of ecosystems and sustainable use of resources to meet the needs of society.
