Vilnius University opens a modern laser complex “Naglis”
On 19 December 2014 Vilnius University opens a new laser complex "Naglis" at the Laser Research Centre (Saulėtekio al. 10).
During the opening participants will have the opportunity to visit scientific laboratories, they will be introduced to the variety of advanced laser complex applications.
The laser multifunctional complex "Naglis" makes an integral part of the Sunrise Valley infrastructure and will provide access for national and international researchers.
The laser systems also modern diagnostic equipment of wide spectral range is installed in the laboratories of "Naglis". The newly deployed resources will be used to develop new laser and light technology research areas, to enhance the co-operation between Vilnius University researchers and foreign research centres, also scientists from other Lithuanian institutions.
