Vilnius University Invites Students to Join “Student for a Day”
Vilnius University (VU) invites school students and everyone interested in studies to take part in the traditional event “Student for a Day,” taking place on April 14–18.
This is a unique opportunity to get a closer look at life at VU, explore your study program of interest, and experience what it’s like to be a real student—even if just for a day.
Why participate?
Participants will have the chance to attend lectures, seminars, and special sessions in 15 different VU faculties—located in Vilnius, Kaunas, and Šiauliai. Activities will be held both in-person and online, in Lithuanian or English. Not only will participants learn more about study programs and their content, but they’ll also have the chance to interact with lecturers and current students.
There’s plenty to choose from, covering subjects such as political philosophy, journalism, computer science, law, dentistry, economics, history, and many more. It’s a great opportunity to get answers to important questions about study fields and admission requirements.
“Student for a Day” is more than just lectures. It’s a chance to experience the spirit of the VU community, make first connections, and prepare for your future academic journey. Even a short conversation with a student or lecturer can be an important step in choosing your path.
Those who wish to participate are encouraged to register responsibly—due to limited availability, it is recommended to select no more than 5 lectures. All activities will follow Lithuanian time (EET).
