Vilnius University Becomes a Full-fledged Member of the International Artificial Intelligence Doctoral Academy

51012123750 db91ecd595 kVilnius University (VU) has become a full-fledged member of the International Artificial Intelligence Doctoral Academy (AIDA). VU is represented by Dr. Virginijus Marcinkevičius, a researcher at the Institute of Data Science and Digital Technologies, Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics.

The International Artificial Intelligence Doctoral Academy was established to create access to knowledge related to artificial intelligence and to further attract doctoral students to work in this field. AIDA brings together a variety of organizations offering doctoral and postdoctoral studies related to artificial intelligence.

AIDA seeks to ensure Europe’s strategic autonomy in key areas of technology such as artificial intelligence, which underpins most of our future professional and private activities and which will have a major socio-economic impact in the future. AIDA wants to strengthen and build Europe’s resources in this area, including the world-class research community, to remain at the forefront of the development of artificial intelligence.
