The report Key Influencers of International Student Satisfaction 2014 announced by StudyPortals gives a unique insight into what students think about studying abroad.

The above student satisfaction was gained by analysing comments made by international students on the student experience exchange platform, STeXX.eu.

 

STeXX.eu allows students to give their study abroad experience a score out of 10, and then give their reasons for giving that score. With thousands of these comments available, it was possible to make an in-depth analysis of what international students in Europe are content with, and where they would like to see improvements. The main reasons to recommend a study abroad experience is city & culture, academics, social life, university service, also personal and professional development. While the students are less positive with recommendation due to such factors as academics, quality of university services, cost, quality of life in the city & culture level.

The report also allows finding out which are the most highly rated universities in Europe, as well as the top universities for student satisfaction in each country.

Certificate.Lithuania was not evaluated on this report because of insufficient number of reviews. However, Vilnius University itself was awarded for excellent international student satisfaction by receiving 9+ out of 10. Europe Average is 8.8, whereas first top 3 rated universities received the following scores: Sweden 9.1, United Kingdom 9.0 and Austria 9.0.
