Two articles co-authored by Assoc.Prof.A.Germanavičius were awarded as best Research articles of the year 2011

The Australasian Society of Intellectual Disability (ASID) has awarded their 2011 International Research Prize for article „Ageing and health status in adults with intellectual disabilities: Results of the European POMONA II study".

Another article „The P15-a multinational assessment battery for collecting data on health indicators relevant to adults with intellectual disabilities" received the Francisco Garces Roca award from the Spanish Society for the Provision of Socio-health Care in August 2011.
