The Šiauliai Academy Study Program Has Been Given the Investors’ Spotlight Quality Mark

On April 22, the Program Systems study program of Vilnius University Šiauliai Academy (VU ŠA) was awarded the Investors' Spotlight quality mark.

VU Šiauliai Academy participated in the Investors' Spotlight project implemented by Invest in Lithuania's foreign investment development agency. Thus by meeting the expectations reflected in the plans made to implement the recommendations, the Program Systems study program was awarded a quality mark.

"The received international recognition shows that with the constantly changing business environment and needs, VU Šiauliai Academy closely cooperates with business and improves the study program so that graduates can contribute to value creation and business development," says VU Šiauliai Academy Director Assoc. dr. Renata Bilbokaitė.

The Director of VU Šiauliai Academy expressed gratitude to Vytis Lembutis, Raimundas Vaišvila, and Edita Grigaliauskienė (ŠPPAR). The director also showed appreciation to the chairman of the Program Systems Study Programs Committee of VU Šiauliai Academy, prof. Dr Sigita Turskienė and the entire teaching staff for the realized ambitions and for marking the quality mark. Also, the director thanked the head of the Institute of Regional Development doc. Dr Lina Garšvienė, for deepening and expanding the relationship with the business.

Together with the Investors Forum Association, Invest in Lithuania is implementing the Investors' Spotlight project, which aims to strengthen the connection of higher education institutions with business, ensure the quality of studies through the harmony of theory and practice, and ensure the sustainability and content of modern business. Guaranteeing the flexible adaptation of future specialists in the labour market and their successful establishment.
