The Scientific Conference “Inflation, Wages and Their Impact on Competitiveness in Lithuania”
The scientific conference “Inflation, Wages and Their Impact on Competitiveness in Lithuania” organized by Vilnius University (VU) Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, the Bank of Lithuania, and the International Monetary Fund will take place on June 7th at 9.30 a.m.
During the conference, researchers from the Bank of Lithuania and a team from the International Monetary Fund will present speeches on the development of inflation in Lithuania, its causes, and consequences. The discussion will be moderated by Dr. Aurelija Proškutė, a researcher at VU Faculty of Economics and Business Administration and the Bank of Lithuania. The discussion will include the participation of Gintarė Skaistė, the Minister of Finance of the Republic of Lithuania, Gediminas Šimkus, the Chairman of the Board of the Bank of Lithuania, and Borja Gracia, the Head of the International Monetary Fund Mission in Lithuania.
The conference will take place in the TechHub conference room at the VU Faculty of Economics and Business Administration (Saulėtekio av. 9, Building II, 2nd floor). The conference will be held live and is open to all interested parties. Registration is not required to participate in this event. The event will be conducted in English.
