The Deadline for Ukrainians to Apply for Lithuanian Language and Culture Courses Has Been Extended
The Faculty of Philology of Vilnius University (VU FLF) informs that the period for submitting applications for intensive Lithuanian language and culture courses has been extended for Ukrainian citizens who have left Ukraine for Lithuania due to the military actions of the Russian Federation in the country.
Vilnius University (VU) invites Ukrainian citizens who left Ukraine for Lithuania due to military action by the Russian Federation in the country to submit their applications for the intensive Lithuanian language and culture course.
Teachers of Ukrainian institutions of higher education, researchers as well as employees in all areas of the educational system, and students are encouraged to apply. During the studies, one will not only have an opportunity to pick up some Lithuanian but will also get acquainted with Lithuanian culture, history, contemporary life of the country, etc.
Training at VU Faculty of Philology will take place in 2022 from May 30 to June 28, weekdays from 9 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. Beginner groups (A1) will be formed only. The course will be held face-to-face.
The call for applications is due on 18 May 2022 inclusive. Applications can be submitted online here.
