Professor Saulius Klimašauskas from VU Acknowledged Internationally

Professor Saulius Klimašauskas from VU Acknowledged InternationallyProfessor Saulius Klimašauskas, the chief researcher of the Vilnius University Biotechnology Institute was awarded with the membership of the Royal Society of Chemistry (RPC). The new list of members is to be announced in the British newspaper The Times.


The membership in the Society entitles the new members with a title of FRSC (Fellow of the RSC). "This attribute of public recognition distinguishes the RSC from other worldwide research organizations" – admitted Professor S. Klimašauskas.

 

The RSC has several membership categories (affiliate, associate, member, fellow), corresponding to the different qualification levels.

Apart from the public recognition and the subscription of the monthly magazine The Chemistry World, the members gain also access to the Royal Society of Chemistry Journals archives and other publications. RPC is also committed to providing assistance to the researcher career and information concerning scientific conference areas.

Professor S. Klimašauskas belongs to a number of different international professional communities, such as: American Chemical Society, Epigenetics Society, International Union of Crystallography and other member organizations.
