Lecture on bioethics by Professor of Manchester and Oslo universities

On Wednesday, August 10, Soren Holm, who is professor of bioethics and medical ethics at Manchester and Oslo universities, will give a public lecture "Bioethics: Past, Present and Future". The lecture will take place at 2 p. m. in the Senate Hall of Vilnius University (Universiteto St. 3).

Soren Holm is a former President of the European Society for Philosophy of Medicine and Health Care and joint Editor in Chief of the Journal of Medical Ethics. He is currently a member of the Nuffield Council on Bioethics and member of the Council's Working Party on Emerging Biotechnologies.
