Invitation for Vilnius University Young Researchers’ Grant

Vilnius University launched a call for young researchers to apply for funding for internal projects. This financial instrument was started five years ago – it aims to encourage collaboration between different academic units and researchers representing different research fields. The call addresses young researchers, with the hope that this will be seen as a possibility to gain the necessary experience for project planning and implementation.

These projects should be implemented by scholars of at least two different research fields, the projects should be implemented in at least two academic units. The call is targeting young researchers (PhDs obtained no later than 10 years prior to the call deadline) and doctoral and master students. Bachelor students may be included in the project implementation group as group members.

Project duration: from the end of April 2024 until 31 December 2025.

The call is open until 18 March 2024.

The maximum amount per project is 18 000 Eur (up to 8 000 Eur for the year 2024 and up to 10 000 Eur for the year 2025).
