Professor Felix Ekardt will deliver a public lecture on climate change
Guest lecturer – Professor Felix Ekardt – an expert in Public Law, Legal Philosophy and Climate Policy will give a lecture on „Climate Change as a Social and Economic Problem" on Wednesday, 20th May 2015, 16.00 at Vilnius University, Faculty of Economics Room 707, Saulėtekio ave. 9, Vilnius. Working language of the lecture: English, participation: free.
Professor will deal with European sustainability policy, discuss measures to combat climate change and avert severe consequences for the society and economy.
Since 2009 professor Felix Ekardt works as a public law and legal philosophy professor at the University of Rostock. Since 2009 he leads a Research Unit in Leipzig and Berlin, which deals with Sustainability and Climate Policy. His research topics: environmental/sustainability policy and environmental/sustainability law, theory of justice, human rights, constitutional law, sustainability theory, interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary problems of sustainability, transformation processes and social learning, governance and policy instruments.
