Global Economy and United States Politics in 2020. Keynote lecture by Roger C. Altman

Roger C. Altman is Founder and Senior Chairman of Evercore, which has become the most active independent investment bank in the world. He served two tours of duty in the U.S. Treasury Department, initially serving President Carter as Assistant Secretary for Domestic Finance and later serving President Clinton as Deputy Secretary. Mr. Altman held positions of co-head of overall investment banking at Lehman Brothers and Vice Chairman at Blackstone Group.
Mr. Altman is a Trustee of MIT and is a Trustee of New York-Presbyterian Hospital, serving on its Finance Committee. He is also a Director of New Visions for Public Schools and is a Member of the Council on Foreign Relations. He received an A.B. from Georgetown University and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago.
The topic of the lecture and discussion is „Global Economy and United States Politics in 2020“ (moderated by Arnoldas Pranckevicius, Head of European Commission Representation in Lithuania). Based on extensive experience in finance and politics, the expert will share his insights on global economic tendencies and what we can expect in the US politics during the Presidential elections this year.
