Can machines understand the Scientific Literature?

On January 24 prof. Peter Murray-Rust from Cambridge University will give a report "Can machines understand the Scientific Literature?"
His research interests involve the automated analysis of data in
scientific publications, creation of virtual communities, etc. He campaigns for Open Data, particularly in science, and is on the advisory board of the Open Knowledge Foundation
and a co-author of the Panton Principles for Open scientific data.
The report will take place at 13.00, room No 101 in the Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics (47 Didlaukio Street).
