Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) Mentoring Programme – Turning Ideas into Businesses
Arqus invites academics and students to participate and collaborate in the co-creation and implementation of the initiative “Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) Mentoring Programme – Turning Ideas into Businesses”. The BIP is a b-learning activity that will have an online phase from 15th April to 5th July with weekly synchronous and asynchronous sessions and an on-site part from 24th to 28th June in the city of Guimarães (Portugal).
The aim of this BIP is to promote the exchange of experiences and good practices in the process of turning ideas into businesses, namely through the stages of:
1) Innovation, creativity and value proposition.
2) Customer development and market analysis.
3) Business model design.
4) Business valuation, creation, launch and management.
The experiences and methodologies used by the participating institutions, the critical evaluation and suggestions to be made by the participants and the good practices identified will be used to jointly produce a handbook/website with guidelines for the application of effective methodologies in the participating institutions.
Such a document can be successively extended, updated and improved in future iterations and can be a tool for analysis and evaluation of innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystems in the Arqus Alliance institutions and will support further initiatives.
For the BIP, it is expected about 3 students/researchers per Arqus university and a tutor (staff, alumni, researcher or teacher) to lead the group.
The participation of key actors and alumni with experience in these fields will make these activities very relevant for all participants. People interested or working in the field of innovation and entrepreneurship will find the BIP interesting.
The Programme and further information can be downloaded here.
The application period is open from 18th to 22nd March 2024. The results will be published by 29th March 2024.
