Bell Tower of St. John‘s Church Opens up Traditionally for Visitors  Bell Tower of St. John's Church invites the citizens and the guests of Lithuania to admire the panorama of the Vilnius city.

Admission to the Bell Tower starts as of 20 April and it will stay open every day at 10AM–6.30PM during the months of April, May and in September, whereas during the summer months of June-July-August it will stay open from 11AM to 7.30PM.

St. Johns' Church Bell Tower at Vilnius University built in baroque style 400 years ago is the tallest building in the Old Town of Vilnius – viewing area is installed at the top of the Bell Tower where visitors may see a panorama of Vilnius city from the 60 meters height. Authentic wooden stairs lead to the observation area, though there is also a possibility to reach it be an elevator – less romantic way, though.

Visitors are usually fascinated by Foucault's Pendulum demonstrating the effect of rotation of the Earth. The socket of pendulum entrenchment is installed on the second floor of the Bell Tower. During the day, the swinging ball changes its position and imitates the rotation of the Earth.
