Her thesis focused on the phenomenon of migration between Romania and Germany and on Eastern European policies. Diana Radoi is currently studying the Arqus Joint Master’s Programme in European Studies, an experience she describes as “a unique opportunity to work with lecturers from all over the world and gain a broader perspective on key issues”.
“It is a great honour for me to take part in this press corner. As a Romanian student, I am excited to meet Vice-President Roxana Mînzatu, who is also Romanian and holds one of the most important positions in the European Commission. I would like to ask her about her plans for the implementation of the European degree and how this can benefit students. I also hope to get some information on how young people can access more job opportunities after finishing their studies”, stated Diana. Additionally, Diana plans to share with the Vice-President and her team, the advantages and challenges she and her classmates have encountered in the master’s degree. “In my opinion, it is important to highlight the positive aspects of the programme, but also point out the problems that we are facing so it can be improved and future programmes can be stronger,” she adds.
Diana will share her personal experience in the Arqus joint programme and explain how this opportunity has transformed her academic and professional development. Her words will be essential to highlight how these programmes promote greater integration and connection between universities in different countries.
This press corner is a 15-minute communication moment, with few journalists physically present and many more online from all across Europe. After the meeting with Roxana Mînzatu, participants will have the opportunity to visit the Parlamentarium, the parliamentary visitors centre.
The Arqus Alliance congratulates and thanks Diana Radoi on this important achievement and wishes her all the best of luck in her participation in this event.
