Arqus Opens the Twinning Call For Autumn Semester 2023/2024
In order to strengthen the cooperation between “Arqus” universities' lecturers and students in the field of curricula/disciplines and to create opportunities for joint teaching and learning activities by means of short-term mobility, Vilnius University (VU) invites applications for Twinning exchange visits to the “Arqus” network universities of Granada (Spain), Graz (Austria), Leipzig (Germany), Lyon 1 (France), Maynooth (Ireland), Minho (Portugal), Padua (Italy), Wroclaw (Poland).
A Twinning exchange visit takes a group of 1 teacher and 3-5 students to a partner in the same (or a related) subject area. The trip lasts 3-5 days (+2 days for travel).
A Twinning exchange visit may include group training, workshops or projects for students in the first, second and third cycle of studies. Twinning activities can be implemented through regular (physical) or blended mobility.
Funding:
The maximum amount funded by the VU is up to EUR 2000/person (including travel, accommodation, subsistence/per diem - actual costs). Maximum group size: 1 lecturer and 3-5 students.

Selection results will be published 31 October 2023.
Twinning exchange visits will run from 1 November to 15 December 2023*.
Selection criteria:
- Innovativeness and impact of the envisaged activity "Arqus" impact on the development of the "Arqus network";
- Impact of the planned activities on the impact "Arqus" Innovative and innovative nature of the activity and its benefits for the sending and receiving institutions;
- Activities sustainability (previous joint activities with the host university and/or follow-up activities after the Twinning trip).
* Failure to use the funding awarded by the scheduled date will not be able to be carried over to the following calendar year.
