Arqus Joint Call for Blended Intensive Programmes (BIPs) Applications
The Arqus Alliance of European Universities invites the university community to apply for Blended Intensive Programmes (BIPs). These programs provide a unique opportunity to enhance international cooperation, implement innovative learning strategies, and encourage international mobility.
The programme must involve at least three partners from Erasmus+ countries, at least two of which must be members of the Arqus Alliance. The duration of the activity can vary from 5 to 30 days, including a mandatory virtual component (there are no restrictions on its timing or duration). At least 15 mobility participants, either students or staff, from universities in the programme countries should take part. Finally, students must obtain at least 3 ECTS credits for completing the programme, which must be recognised by their institutions. Eligible period of activities: 1 April to 31 July 2025.
Priority will be given to applications related to the key themes of Arqus II: European identity and heritage, digital transformation and artificial intelligence, climate change and environmental sustainability. Learning outcomes, implementation strategies, innovativeness of content or methods, continuity of activities and expected impact on participants and institutions are also important selection criteria.
Arqus will fund five programmes coordinated by the Universities of Graz (Programme 1), Lyon 1 (Programme 2) and Padua (Programme 2), which have received Erasmus+ funding for the organisation of BIPs. The mobility of participants from Arqus universities will be funded through their Erasmus+ funds.
In order to apply, it is recommended to contact the relevant institution (Graz, Lyon 1 or Padua) to discuss the possibilities of developing and implementing the programme. Applications, completed and submitted by a representative of the host institution, must be submitted by 20 January 2025. Applicants will be informed of grant decisions by 31 January 31 2025.
