Arqus Invites to Join Alliance Ambassadors
Meetings, collaboration, interculturality, challenges, opportunities, community and discovery. These and similar words are how participants describe the Arqus Alliance and the activities it offers. We invite you to get to know them better and maybe even become an Arqus Ambassador yourself.
Dominyka Goldbergaitė, Arqus student representative at Vilnius University (VU), shared her thoughts after meeting with Arqus students at VU: "I am glad that Arqus is not only an international platform for building bridges, but also allows you to get to know your own campus community better. Today we had the opportunity to discuss: what does it mean to be an ARQUS student? What are the opportunities and where do we still need to go. It is good to see a university that is so international and progressive, creating global citizens."
The launch of the Arqus Alliance Ambassador Programme is announced. This programme, led by the Arqus Student Agora, aims to create a network of student ambassadors who promote the Alliance's values and initiatives, working with students, staff and local communities.
Students interested in becoming Arqus Ambassadors should fill in an application form, including a CV and a motivational letter highlighting their involvement in institutional activities, experience of working with international students and their commitment to promoting international cooperation. You can find out more about Arqus activities here.
Arqus is an alliance of 9 European universities. Founded in 2018 on the initiative of French President Emmanuel Macron, the Alliance celebrates its fifth anniversary by celebrating the intercultural traditions, opportunities and interconnections it has created.
